Our Village

Where the Palm Trees Stand Tall

The name Denduluru comes from Telugu — 'dendu' (palm tree) and 'uru' (village). Literally, the village of the palm trees.

Nestled 11 kilometres north-east of Eluru, Denduluru sits on the fertile plains of the Krishna-Godavari delta — one of the most productive agricultural belts in India. The village has been home to generations of families who have worked its land, built its temples, and carried its name across cities and continents.

The village was transferred from West Godavari district to the newly formed Eluru district in April 2022, as part of AP's administrative reorganisation aimed at improving governance and local service delivery.
